Bunkershill is a traditional Galloway cottage that has been completely renovated and upgraded within the last 4 years. The renovation is sympathetic to the age of the cottage but also provides an extremely high standard of accommodation with high ceilings, oak flooring, underfloor heating throughout, open fire for winter evenings, double glazing and new kitchen and bathroom.
The furnishings provided are newly purchased and of a very high standard, with oak furniture in all rooms and comfortable couches and chairs. The accommodation provided will sleep up to 6 people – 4 adults, or 2 adults and 4 children.
The cottage is in a peaceful situation close to the shore, and also has a beautiful garden with outdoor sitting areas (with good quality garden furniture provided), trees, shrubs, a wealth of flowering perennials, and a circular lawn. The garden is south and west facing and provides an ideal place for outdoor eating (Weber barbeque provided) or watching the stunning sunsets.
There is a large drive in parking area with ample space for 3 cars.
